adoption process
Upon approval of an adoption application, kittens will be – if not already – spayed or neutered as soon as possible. No cats will be released to their new homes until they have been altered.
The adoption fee is $75 - $150 per cat, by cash or check, and includes spay/neuter, initial vaccinations, de-worming and other routine treatments (i.e. flea) as necessary.
We often have siblings available. Though not a requirement in most cases, we encourage you to at least consider adopting in pairs. The kittens find it especially comforting – and having a built-in playmate often helps them integrate into their new family more easily.
*Please note that we use Petfinder names for administrative purposes only, not with the kittens. If you have a different inspiration, we encourage you to follow it!
Our rescues ready for adoption can be seen on our Pefinder page and we have Adopt-A-Thons at many All the Best Pet Care locations.
We request all adopters—and encourage those considering adoption—to read and carefully consider the articles found at A Path With Paws. This is a blog by my friend and vet Lena McCullough, DVM. She offers excellent advice on vaccinations, “How to pick the best food for your cat’s health”, and more. Already a have pets? The information is great for anyone wanting to provide the best care for their pets!
